Dalysgrove Riding Club is based out of Liam Naughtons farm near Ahascragh, County Galway.
We enjoy horse riding and associated activities, we are an active club with regular training
sessions with emphasis on fun and craic at all times. This being said we
have been relatively
successful for such a small club over the last few years with our show jumping team
having represented the region in the
national finals in the RDS and the dressage team having represented the region at the Dressage
Championships on a number of occasions. Plus the current Advanced Open
one-day-event champion and the Primary dressage champion are Dalysgrove
members.
Because we are such an active club we have drawn associate members
from many neighbouring clubs (Ballinasloe, South Roscommon, Roscommon
among others) over the last few years. These members ride for their own club in competitions but
that only adds to the rivalry and the craic at training and on the
social scene. Our aim is to promote good horse riding skills and
knowledge throughout.
